Healthcare as easy as ordering an UberJanuary 18, 2018 5:47 pm Leave your thoughts If you’re feeling sick, the last thing you want to do is spend time and energy finding the right doctor. With these helpful apps, you won’t have to. Here are three apps that make taking care of your health as easy as ordering an Uber.
ZocdocZocdoc lets you find the perfect doctor right from your phone. Filter by insurance plan, recommended doctors, and patient reviews to find exactly what you’re looking for. You can book appointments, complete paperwork, and set up reminders all from the app.
Doctor On DemandSkip the waiting room with Doctor On Demand, and see a board-certified doctor without ever leaving your home. After selecting your symptoms, the app will connect you with a doctor using a video call. The doctor can send prescriptions directly to your pharmacy after the appointment.
MDLIVEThe MDLIVE app brings doctors to your phone and has the largest telehealth network. This app connects you to doctors and counselors anytime, day or night. You can talk over the phone, video call, or message with a doctor. Sign up for free, and only get charged if you book an appointment. On-demand doctors are not substitutes for emergency care. If a patient shares symptoms that indicate an emergency, they will be directed to call 911. Next time you’re not feeling well, skip the part where you peel yourself out of bed, and use an app to get the care you need instead. What apps do you use to better your health?
